Guidelines for Pages Linked on the P.A.S.E. Elves, Elves, Everywhere (EEE) Page

1)  Each PASE member is entitled to TWO links on the Elves, Elves, Everywhere website.

Your first link should be to your "Letters from Santa" business site. This site must be a dedicated Letters from Santa site, meaning that it is functional and viewable year-round. Your link will read "Letters from Santa" and be hyperlinked to your site. Your second available link is for your "regular" business site (word processing, DTP, gifts, etc.). This link will state your business name and a have hyperlink to that site.

2)  Any Santa Letters site that is linked to the Elves, Elves, Everywhere site MUST contain the following:

The PASE logo or PASE banner linked to the PASE home page.

The logos and banners are available for download in the Members Only area of the PASE Website. The logo or banner must be displayed on the main page of your Santa Letters website and it must be linked to the PASE home page at http://www.paseelves.org . (If you are unsure how to do this or are having trouble, please e-mail Elf Linda.)

We feel that this is appropriate and fair. You are receiving free advertising from the PASE website and we feel it is only fair that you put the link on your page in return. Other websites require it and so do we. Santa Letters websites will be both initially and subsequently checked for compliance and will be removed without notice if the link to the PASE website has been removed.

The PASE logo and link are not required for your regular business page, though they would be appreciated. :)

This code is an example of what you need to put on your Letters from Santa site if you are linking directly from PASE's server:

3)  Please be aware of the content of other outgoing links on your site!

Let's keep the pages suitable for others to see, but not offend or contain things that are inappropriate. The PASE website is intended to be family-friendly, which means that we require websites linked from our site to be family-friendly as well and not to display ads or links to sites inappropriate for a child's viewing. A link does not need to be X-rated to be inappropriate for a child!

There is a statement on the EEE page which indicates that individual members are responsible for the content of their sites. Please review your site, including any web rings or banner links. If your website contains material (including display ads and links) that is offensive, inappropriate, or unsuitable for a child's viewing, any link to it from the PASE website will be removed!

4) PASE was founded with Christmas, Elves, Children and Santa Letters in mind.

Websites solely dedicated to holidays other than Christmas will not be allowed. We are elves--not bunnies, turkeys, or pumpkins :)  It is our goal to provide cyberspace with a page devoted to advertising quality Santa Letters and our businesses when we are not writing Santa Letters.

We ask your help in keeping within these guidelines as well as guidelines suitable for the general public. Thanks for your cooperation.
